Editorial policy

Last updated: June 2026

This policy explains how ThesisHelp.ca researches, writes, reviews, and corrects every thesis we deliver. It applies to all custom thesis writing, dissertation help, editing, and academic thesis help projects.

1. Writer selection

Every writer holds at least a Master's degree in the field they write in. PhD-level work is assigned only to writers with a completed doctorate. Writers are vetted with subject tests, a writing sample, and a probationary review before taking client work.

2. Research & sourcing

We cite peer-reviewed journals, university press books, Statistics Canada, Government of Canada datasets, and reputable disciplinary databases (JSTOR, PubMed, Scopus, ERIC). Wikipedia and unverified blogs are never used as primary sources. All citations are formatted in the style your university requires (APA 7, MLA 9, Chicago, Harvard, Vancouver, IEEE, OSCOLA).

3. Originality & plagiarism

Every draft is written from scratch and screened with Turnitin and Copyleaks before delivery. Our originality threshold is under 5% similarity. The originality report is sent to you with the draft.

4. AI use

Our writers are human. We do not generate thesis text with large language models. Every draft is screened with GPTZero, Originality.ai, and Turnitin AI detection before delivery, and the reports are shared with you. AI is used only for low-risk tasks like grammar checks and reference formatting, with human review.

5. Editorial review

Every draft is reviewed by a senior editor before delivery: structure, argument, methodology, citations, and language. The editor signs off in writing before the file is released to you.

6. Fact-checking & corrections

Quantitative claims, statistics, and direct quotations are verified against their original sources. If we discover an error after delivery, we issue a free revision and a written correction within 48 hours.

7. Confidentiality

Writers and editors sign strict NDAs. Your identity, university, and topic are never shared. Project files are deleted from our servers 30 days after delivery.

8. Conflict of interest

Writers and editors are independent contractors. They are paid per project, not per source cited, and have no incentive to inflate length or citation count.

9. User feedback & complaints

If you believe a draft falls short of these standards, email editorial@thesishelp.ca. Senior editors review every complaint within 24 hours and respond in writing.
